The New York Yankees is a name synonymous with baseball. Being the world’s most successful baseball team with over 25 World Series championships and well over 30 League Pennants under their belt puts the Yankees at legendary status. The New York Yankees have always and will always play in Yankee Stadium. However, the year 2008 will be their last in the historical ball playing field. A new Yankee Stadium is being completed across the street from the classic field, where the New York Yankees will begin to play in 2009.
