Kenny Chesney
Kenny Chesney, one of today’s most popular artists in country music, was born on March 26, 1968 in Knoxville, Tennessee. Throughout his musical career Kenny Chesney has seen a lot of success. After graduating college from East Tennessee State, Kenny pursued his musical career. Before this, he had played a few shows and even recorded a CD that he sold at those shows. Playing in a slummy bar, The Turf, for about a year, Kenny Chesney was unable to find any other steady work. Kenny got his first break with Opryland Music Group with a songwriter’s contract. With a few well performing singles, Kenny Chesney was later signed to RCA and BNA Records. His next three albums, “All I Need to Know,” “Me and You,” and “Everywhere we Go” went gold, platinum and then double platinum over the course of a few years. Kenny Chesney has many more albums, his latest, “Live: Live Those Songs Again,” pushed his total record sales to over 25 million.
